Jeff Nix

Mr. Jeff Nix, age 44, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017 at his residence.  Born in Chicago, Illinois on July 19, 1973, he was the son of Peggy Wilson Nix of Marion and the late Lawrence Nix. 

A loving father, grandfather, son and brother, Jeff was known for his cheerful personality and was friendly to everyone he came into contact with.  In his spare time, he enjoyed skateboarding, but most of all, spending time with his grandson. Eli.

Left to cherish his memories, in addition to his mother, two daughters, Brooke Ashley Nix (Terry Hughes) of Somerville, Tennessee and Jada Sky Nix of Marion; one sister, Mickie Nix of Marion; his loving grandson, Eli Cole Hughes; and one niece, Samantha Nix of Marion.  Jeff is also survived by special friend Jennifer Fabian of Marion; and several other friends. 

There will be a gathering of family and friends on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 between 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. at Clinchfield United Methodist Church in Marion; and then a time of remembrance to follow.
