Jeff Galen Hudgins

Mr. Jeff Galen Hudgins, age 56, of the Woodlawn Community, passed away on the morning of Saturday, November 07, 2020 after doing what he loved most, coon hunting.

A native of McDowell County, he was born on October 13, 1964 to the late Donald and Barbara Robinson Hudgins.

Jeff was employed by McDowell County as a mechanic. He loved the outdoors, and he especially enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing. He loved his family and friends, and he will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Michael Robin Hudgins.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Misty Lamb Hudgins; two children, Donny and Jamie Hudgins; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service with Reverend Bill Blevins officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior, from 2:00 to 3:00, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Elliott Cemetery.
