Janet Hilton Rodifer, age 67, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 with her loving husband and family by her side. Born in Johnson City, Tennessee on November 30, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Ellen Hilton.
Janet was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed spoiling them often. She was a registered nurse for twenty-five years, a job she took great pride in. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rodifer is preceded in death by her infant son Joshua Rodifer and her daughter Sherry Williams.
She is survived by her husband of fifty years, Walter Rodifer; four children, Laura Heaton and husband Greg, Cindy Freeman and husband Kieth, Robin Taylor, and Walter Rodifer II; one sister, Sharon Campbell; three brothers, Richard Hilton, Tommy Hilton, and Dale Hilton. Janet is also survived by eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A graveside service in celebration of her life will take place Friday, August 19, 2016 at Washington Memory Gardens in Johnson City, Tennessee at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Tim Carver officiating.
