Janet Cheryl Ford

Janet “Cheryl” James Ford, age 71, of Marion, North Carolina passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at StoneCreek Health and Rehabilitation. A native of Anderson, South Carolina, Janet was born on February 17, 1948 to the late Albert and Ruth Forrester James.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Ford and son, Steve Ford.

Cheryl was an avid reader and loved children. She was very passionate about children’s literacy. She donated children’s books to West Marion Elementary throughout her life. She loved action movies and rock-n-roll music and was very youthful until her passing. Cheryl was the coolest mom ever and never met anyone who didn’t love her immediately.

Left to cherish her memories are one daughter, Sally Ford; one daughter-in-law, Jodi Ford and one granddaughter, Caitlin Ford.
