James "Von" Lipe

Mr. James “Von” Lipe, age 54, of Old Fort, North Carolina, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, May 13, 2020.  Born in McDowell County, North Carolina on October 01, 1965, he was the son of George “GG” Lipe of Marion and Verdie Stevens Propst of Old Fort.

A loving son, brother and friend, Von enjoyed spending time with his family.  Von enjoyed cooking for family and friends.

Von is survived by his father, George “GG” Lipe and his wife, Julie; his mother, Verdie Stevens Propst and her husband, Bill; one brother, Johnny Duane Lipe; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and several friends.

A graveside for Mr. Lipe will be held at later date and will be announced once it has been confirmed.
