James Edward Born

James Edward Born, 75, of Marion passed away at his residence, on Wednesday, November 1, 2023.

James was born in Genesee County, MI on November 19, 1947 to the late Peter Edward Born and the late Nina Bernear Born.

James was a loving husband who was happily married to his wife, Janice Deese Born for twenty-eight years. In his spare time he enjoyed woodworking. James retired as a truck driver who worked for Winn Dixie and Quality Stone.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Janice; his brother-in-law Larry Deese (Regina); his sister-in-law Althea Hayes (Gregg); nephew, Loren Hayes and nieces, Appy Beemer and Daphne Olsson.

A graveside service will be held at Ashford Community Cemetery on Monday, November 6, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.
