Jadd Wesley Brewer

Jadd Wesley Brewer, 63, of Marion, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Banner Elk on October 16, 1960 to the late Jess Brewer and Carolyn Howell Brewer. A sister, Jan Ramsey, also preceded him in death.

Jadd formerly was employed in the water quality and treatment industry for over 40 years. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church. His first and foremost love was his Lord, and he put Him first in all things. Jadd loved his family wholeheartedly. His church family meant the world to him. Jadd loved serving the Lord on mission trips. He had been on several, and had visited Peru twice. He enjoyed traveling and camping as well. In recent years, he had traveled across the country and had also visited Alaska. The beach was Jadd and Patsy’s happy place. He also had a special canine companion, Halle, that meant the world to him. He will be greatly missed by all.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy Rhinehart Brewer; three children, Corben Brewer (Acacia), Heather Jimenez (Joey), and Joshua Cagle (Brittany); six grandchildren, Steven Allison, Jada Allison, Harley Allison, Carter Allison, Kierstin Cagle, and Clyde Cagle; one great-grandchild, Oaklynn Wright; and niece and nephew, Jessie Key and Jacob Ramsey as well as their children.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at 12:00 noon at Grace Baptist Church on Shady Lane. Dr. Eric Grindstaff will officiate. The family will receive friends from 11:00 until 12:00.
