Jacqueline Fay Crouch McPeters

Jacqueline Fay Crouch McPeters, 92, of Nebo, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 04, 2022.

Jackie was born in High Point, North Carolina on February 16, 1929 to the late Jay T. Crouch and Lillie Rathburn Crouch. Jackie was a CNA for many years. She started nursing back when IV solutions were in glass bottles. Later in life she became a LPN. She worked as a nurse until the patients were much younger than her then she decided to do private nursing until she was in her eighties. Jackie was born a fifth generation and was a fifth generation five times in her life, the last being when her great-great granddaughter was born in June of 2021. Jackie loved to read especially medical journals. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother.

In addition to her parents Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel McPeters; daughter, Becky McPeters; brother, Arnold Crouch and sister, Frances Ware.

Those left to cherish her memory are four children, sons, David McPeters (Karen) and Joel McPeters; daughters, Gladys Poteat (Clifford) and Treeva Rooks Freeman; grandchildren, Scott Poteat, April Poteat, William Poteat (Donna), Travis Rooks (Allison), Luke Rooks and Trevor Kettle; great grandson, Oliver Grant and great great granddaughter, Ainsley May Rooks.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 6, 2022 in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service with the Rev. Alan Sailors officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
