Hugh B. Berry

June 11, 1934 — October 26, 2019

 

Hugh B. Berry passed away Saturday, Oct. 26th.  He was born June 11, 1934 to the late Noah and Ruby Berry, in Washington County, TN. 

He was a 1956 graduate of Science Hill High School and active in several sports there.  He retired from Dow Chemical as a Regional Sales Manager.  He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Johnson City.  He married Betty Crowe in 1957.

 

He was also pre-deceased by a sister, Jackie Berry and a brother George Berry.  He is survived by three sisters Joy Tittle and Betty Owens both of Johnson City and Goldia Morrison of Louisville, KY.

He is also survived by several nieces and nephews whom he cared for very much.

Thanks to his many friends who came by to see him and for all the support and comfort offered.

 

Graveside service will be at held at Happy Valley Memorial Park on Thursday, Oct. 31st at 11:30 A.M. and everyone is welcome to come.  Scott Huskins, a personal friend will hold a brief service and Tony Young, his nephew, will offer a prayer.

 

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Bayless Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 498 Milligan College, TN 37682.
