Hubert Carl Stapleton

Hubert Carl Stapleton, 73, of Marion, North Carolina, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 9, 2025.

Hubert was born in Asheville, North Carolina on June 3, 1951 to the late Betty Ann Walker and Alvin Hubert Stapleton. Hubert served in the United States Army. He loved hunting and fishing, Western T.V., Star Wars, and Jesus.

Hubert was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Stapleton; daughters, Angela Stapleton and Anita Vardiman; grandsons, Frederick Badgero, III and Jordan Stapleton; and great-grandson, Kayden Shelton.

Left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Theresa Stapleton-Briggs, Michael Stapleton (Cathy), Billy Patton (Karen), and Alvin Stapleton (Geneva); children, Tina Stapleton (Russell), Misty Stapleton, Kim Stapleton (Travis), Jamie Manning (Michael), Josh Stapleton, Melissa Badgero, and Frederick Badgero. Hubert is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom he loved dearly.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at 12:00 noon in the Chapel at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
