Harry Edward "Eddie" Rhinehardt

Mr. Harry Edward “Eddie” Rhinehardt, age 77, died Saturday, February 13, 2021, at his home in Lilesville, North Carolina.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at Beam Funeral Service on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 12:30 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Jerry Lewis officiating, and interment will immediately follow at McDowell Memorial Park. The family will greet friends prior to the service starting at 11:00 a.m.

A native of McDowell County, Eddie was born in Old Fort on August 20, 1943, a son of the late Leonidas Mayfield Rhinehardt and Jennie Mae Noblitt Rhinehardt. He was employed in the textile industry, having retired in October 2019.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Alice Harris Rhinehardt of the home; a daughter, Kimberly Ziady Wilbanks (Charles) of Dunn; a son, Keith Rhinehardt (Amy) of Monroe; four grandchildren, Joey Ziady (Lindsey), Chase Rhinehardt, Garrett Rhinehardt, and Dalton Rhinehardt; two great-grandchildren, Emma Ziady and Joseph Ziady; and one brother, David Rhinehardt (Henry) of Travelers Rest, SC.

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Wadesboro, Hospice of Union and Anson County, and the Pitt Hopkins Foundation.
