Harold L. Revis

On the morning of Friday, January 11, 2019 while surrounded by his loved ones, Harold L. Revis, age 79, of Marion, North Carolina, departed to be with the Lord at his residence.  A native and lifelong resident of McDowell County, he was born September 26, 1939 to the late Alvin and Dora Nations Revis. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Pauline Browning; three brothers, Vincent Revis, Roy Revis and Millard Revis; and one special niece, Glenda Miller, who he loved very much.

Harold, who dearly loved his family, enjoyed working on cars, farming, and visiting different flea markets. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra McMahan Revis of the home; two sons, Marty Revis (Karen) of Nebo and Kevin Revis (Susan) of Marion; and two sisters, Laverne Miller (Glen) and Evelyn Revis (D.C.), both of Marion.  Harold is also survived by six grandchildren, Katie, Seth, Aaron, Jackson, Lilly and Madison; two great grandchildren, Easton and Emmett; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service with Pastor Rocky Reece and Brother Melvin Revis officiating.  Interment will follow at Revis Family Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.
