Harold "Bud" Hoyle

Harold “Bud” Hoyle, age 87, of Marion, North Carolina went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Care Partners Solace Center in Asheville. He was born in Cleveland County on May 31, 1932 to the late Grayson and Lula Newton Hoyle.

Bud was a member of Pleasant Gardens Baptist Church. He was a United States Army veteran and retired from Henredon Furniture Company after forty-two years of service. He loved the outdoors especially fishing, golfing and camping. Bud enjoyed traveling, he and his wife Helen made two cross country RV trips. He was a very loving husband, father and grandfather.

Bud is survived by his wife of thirty-eight years, Helen Byrd Hoyle; four children, Rick Hoyle (Lydia), Keith Hoyle (Sharon), Wanda McKinney (Donald) and Tonya Rumfelt. Also surviving Bud are six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Gardens Baptist Church with Reverend Ethan Hester officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will take place following the service at Pleasant Gardens Baptist Church Cemetery.
