Gracie Marie Ferrell Henry

Gracie Marie Ferrell Henry, 71, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away Friday, February 10, 2023 at Mission Hospital in Asheville.

A native of San Diego, California, Gracie was born June 20, 1951 to the late Emmanuel and Grace Williams Ferrell.

Gracie loved animals of all kinds, especially horses and birds. She was a skilled painter and enjoyed drawing, knitting, and crocheting as well. Gracie was a gamer who spent lots of time playing video games. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and she spent quality time with them often. Gracie will be remembered for her stubbornness but also for being a very driven woman.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Henry.

She is survived by her five daughters, Lindie Henry, Jonie Henry, Katie Ross, Grace Broom, and Stacie Dennie; and an abundance of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In accordance with Gracie’s wishes, no services are planned at this time.
