Grace "Gracie" Evelyn Bradley Harris

Grace “Gracie” Evelyn Bradley Harris, 85, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away Monday, November 29, 2021 at Mountain Ridge Wellness Center.

She was born in Rutherford County on July 18, 1936 to the late McClain and Estelle Huffman Bradley. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Gay Harris; a son, Talmadge Harris; six brothers, Don, Wilford, Charlie, Floyd, Sam, and Ernest Harris; and one sister, Mildred Laws.

Gracie loved BINGO, BBQ’s with family and friends, and football. She was a very devoted fan of the Washington Redskins. She liked to cook and will be remembered for her pies. She loved to decorate her home for the holidays. Gracie also loved flower gardens. She always was present to support her family members who played baseball. She thoroughly enjoyed watching them.

She is survived by six children, Shelia Manick (Rick), Sherry Franklin, Timothy Harris (Amanda), Vanessa Harris, Candace Harris, and Dupey Harris (Gidget); 12 grandchildren, Jeannie, Kesha, Crystal, Brandon, Dustin, Caleb, Bradley, Devon, Jenna, Cassie, Kimberly, Amber; 13 great grandchildren; and 2 two great-great grandchildren; and one brother, Mack Bradley.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 03, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m.
