Glenna Rosetta Ferguson

Glenna McCurry Ferguson, age 67, of Marion, North Carolina passed away at The McDowell Hospital, Wednesday, March 8, 2017 with her loving family by her side. She was born in McDowell County on January 21, 1950 to the late Robert and Eva Silver McCurry.

Glenna enjoyed being outdoors and loved all animals.

She is preceded in death by a brother Dennis McCurry.

Left to cherish Glenna’s memory are her two sons, Tony McCurry and Kenny McCurry; two sisters, Shelby Jean Cable and Dale Reece, one brother, Charles McCurry. Also surviving Mrs. Ferguson are two granddaughters, Autumn McCurry and Victoria Hollar.

A service to celebrate Glenna’s life will be held on Friday, March 10, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Davistown Free Will Baptist Church with Reverend Frank Cable officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., one hour prior to the service at the church.
