Glenn Gerald Gouge

Mr. Glenn Gerald Gouge, age 77, of Marion passed away on Friday, September 1, 2023 at his residence. Glenn was born in McDowell County on March 27, 1946 to the late Horace Gouge and Eula Medford Gouge. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Harvey, and Harold Gouge; a sister Eunice Vallini; and one grandson Tyler Gouge.

Glenn was known as a hard-working man. He was an avid fisherman and car enthusiast. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be missed by all that knew him.

Survivors include his wife of fifty years, Glenda Davis Gouge; two children, Kevin Gouge and Brandy Gouge; three grandchildren Christian Gouge, Melanie Gouge and Marley Owensby. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of Beam Funeral Service with Rev. Richard Anderson officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 2:30 prior to the service in the chapel.
