George Emory Williams, Jr.

George Emory Williams, Jr., 68, of Nebo, North Carolina, passed away unexpectedly Monday, February 6, 2023.

A native of Marion, he was born July 8, 1954 to the late George Emory Williams and Fannie Maude Gaddy Williams.

George was a simple man with big dreams. He received great joy by helping others, even when he really didn’t have the means to do so.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by two siblings, Randy Williams and Sherry Williams Gray.

He leaves behind a daughter, Susie Williams; a son, George Williams; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and two brothers, Gary Williams, Ricky Williams (Pam), sister-in-law, Virginia Williams; and many other extended family and friends.

Services will be announced at a later date.
