George Edward Cooper

George Edward Cooper, age 81, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017 at the racetrack in Homestead, Florida. Born in Lovettville, Virginia on December 29, 1935, George is the son of the late Charles Cooper and Dorothy Simpson Cooper Brackett.

George was an avid car collector and salesman and was a member of the Fairlane Club. He was a huge NASCAR fan and he also enjoyed hunting.

He is preceded in death by two sons; George William Cooper and Ricky Allan Cooper.

Left to cherish his memory are his two daughters, Debra Elizabeth Cooper and Linda Kay Cooper Seagle both of Port Charlotte, Fl; and one sister, Emma Lloyd of Leesburg, Virginia.

A funeral service to celebrate George’s life will take place at Beam Funeral Service on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. with Reverend Bruce Ward officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
