Genovevo Valdivia Uscanga

Genovevo “Geno” Valdivia Uscanga, age 56, of Marion, North Carolina formerly of Mexico passed away unexpectedly Saturday, July 7, 2018 at McDowell Hospital.

Geno was born January 3, 1962 in Tamarindo Carrillo Puerto to Rufina-Garcia Uscanga of Veracruz, Mexico and to the late ClemÄ“nte Valdivia.  He was a humble man, but he liked to have fun.  He was always playing pranks on others.  Geno didn’t have “pelos en la lengua” but he got along with everyone and made a lot of friends.  Children always loved him and his personality.  Geno will forever be missed by those that knew him.

Those left behind to cherish his memories are three children, Miguel Valdivia of Metter, GA, Maricela Valdivia of Mexico and Jesus Valdivia of Mexico; five grandchildren, Abraham, Anna, Aidan, Miguel and Daniel Valdivia; and many friends that loved him.

A service to celebrate Geno’s life will be announced at a later date.
