Gail Falls

Gail Falls, age 72, of Hickory, North Carolina passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at the Elizabeth House in Flat Rock. A native of Burke County, she was born on November 28, 1945 to the late Roy and Charlotte McKinney Young.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Tonya Ann Sigmon.

Gail loved to cook and was known for her biscuits and gravy. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory are two children, Robin McCluney and Justin Oxentine (Sonya); four sisters including, Alice Holland and Mary Lou Church; four grandchildren, Brandon Ball (Tabitha), Chastity Allen (James), Riley and Chayton Oxentine. Also surviving Gail are her two great-grandchildren, Lexi and Braxton Ball.

A service to celebrate Gail’s life will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at Beam Funeral Service with Reverend Jason Beaver officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
