Frank Lee Johnson

Frank Lee Johnson, age 82, of Marion, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2019 in Plymouth, Ohio. He was born on April 17, 1937 in McDowell County to the late John and Eva Shuford Johnson.

 

Frank was a member of the Glenwood Independent Baptist Church. He retired from Drexel Heritage Company, and was known for his enjoyment of working in his garden. Frank will be truly missed by all that knew him.

 

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of sixty three years, Jewel Toney Johnson; daughter, Kathy Alexander (Chip); son, Van Johnson (Lee-Raye), brother Ernest Johnson; four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

 

A funeral service will be held on Friday June 7, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service with the Reverends T. Jay Addison and Ron Parsons officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m., one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at the Glenwood Independent Baptist Church Cemetery.
