Frank "Skip" Maxson Hill, Jr.

Frank “Skip” Maxson Hill, Jr., 74, of Old Fort, North Carolina, passed away Friday, September 16, 2022 at CarePartners Hospice Solace Center.

He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on April 13, 1948 to the late Frank Maxson Hill, Sr. and Betie Purtell Hill. He is also preceded in death by a daughter, Christy Hill; and a brother, Jim Hill.

Skip was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served for 3 years during the Vietnam War. He worked in carpentry and construction for many years and was very talented and skilled at what he did. Skip was always willing to help friends and family, and he will be remembered for his honesty and great integrity. A true outdoorsman, he loved fishing, gardening, and woodworking.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Margaret Greene Hill; two siblings, Lane Sykes and Randy Hill; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In accordance with his wishes, no services are planned.
