Faye Mace Waldroup

Faye Mace Waldroup, age 72, of Marion, North Carolina went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at her residence with her loved ones by her side. She was born on June 29, 1949 in McDowell County to the late James and Gertrude Price Mace.

Faye was a charter member of Lighthouse Baptist Church where she loved singing for the Lord. She was a loving mother and grandmother, who enjoyed spending time with her family, and her dog Rex. Faye also enjoyed shopping and spending time outdoors.

Faye is survived by two children, Ricky Eugene Waldroup (Amber) and Jody Bartlett (Jeremiah) and one sister, Katie Mosley. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Wesley Shenton, Haley Shenton, Jeremiah Bartlett, Jr., Dakota Waldroup, Truely McGee, one grandchild and great-grandchild on the way.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 20, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Beam Funeral Service. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Old Nebo Cemetery with Reverends Marvin Riddle and Randy Arrowood officiating.
