Faye Pack

Faye Hensley Pack, age 82, of Nebo, North Carolina, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Blue Ridge HealthCare-Grace Hospital in Morganton.  The daughter of the late Richard and Rhoda Grindstaff Hensley, she was born in Burke County, North Carolina on April 02, 1935. 

A faithful church member up until she was unable to attend due to her health, Faye loved to work in her garden and flowers. She will be remembered for the wonderful meals that she would prepare for family and friends. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Martin Pack. 

She is survived by two daughters, Rhonda Price and husband Ray; and Myra Roberts and husband Steve, all of Nebo; one son, Lyndon Pack of Nebo; one brother, Cyrus Hensley of Nebo; three grandchildren, Daniel, Matthew and Andrew; and two great grandchildren, Chloe and Peyton.  Faye is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews; and her beloved canine companion, Cooper.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Bethel Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Shawn Davis and Rev. Ray Stockton officiating.  Interment will follow at McDowell Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the church.
