Everett Randall

Mr. Everett Randall, age 83, while surrounded by his loved ones, departed to be with the Lord on the morning of Thursday, July 08, 2021 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills in Forest City, North Carolina. The son of the late Edward and Lula Sprinkle Randall, he was born in Madison County, North Carolina on November 27, 1937.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two granddaughters, Jessica Nichols Stamey and Amanda Riddle; one grandson, Jason Nichols; and three brothers, Ireland Randall, James Randall and Jerry Randall.

An avid gardener, Everett loved spending time with his family. He had a special place in his heart for kids. It did his heart good to give out candy and spare change he had. Everett attended Zion Hill Baptist Church in Marion.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 63 years, Judy Randall; four children, Doris Randall Nichols (Bill), Linda Randall Lumpkin, Lee Randall and Leslie Randall Ledbetter (Tony); two sisters, Geneva Cable and Ruth Miller; and one brother, Bobby Randall (Hilda). He is also survived by his seven grandchildren, Angela Howell, Andy Riddle, Jill Nichols, Jacob Randall (Heather), Paul Randall, James Ledbetter (Erika) and Nathan Ledbetter; one grandson-in-law, Bobby Stamey; nine great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews; and a special cousin, Alvin Randall.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at Zion Hill Baptist Church with Dr. Tom Walker and Pastor Gerald Sprinkle officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., two hours prior to the service, at the church.
