Eunice Christine Brown

Eunice Christine Brown, 65, of Marion, passed away at Mission Hospital in Asheville on Thursday, August 10, 2023.

Christine was born in McDowell County on May 28, 1958 to the late John Lester Brown and the late Eunice Hogan Brown.

Christine was known for her big heart. She loved listening to gospel music and going gem mining. She loved her family, especially her great and great-great nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Surviving Christine are her two sisters, Pat Brown Lowery (Ronnie) and Lena Brown Baker; her brother Devon Brown; nieces and nephews, Karen Ogle (Alan), Deron Lowery (Cindy), Erin Lovelace (James), Kyle Brown (Rachel) and Shane Brown (Tabitha); great nieces and nephews, Trevor Ogle (Mary Katherine), Casey Ogle, Susie Brown, and Tyler Lowery; along with great-great nephew, Torin Ogle and great-great niece, Adelaide Claire Ogle.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at 3:00 pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00 until 3:00 at the funeral home. Entombment will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery following the service.
