Emma Mae Bishop McKinney, passed away peacefully at her residence on February 12, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on February 9, 1940, in Warren County, Ohio, Emma lived a vibrant life characterized by her adventurous spirit and deep bonds with family and friends.

Emma was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend who cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. She found joy in traveling and often participated in various gatherings with her friends. 

She is survived by her son, Todd Marvin Hollifield, and his husband, James Wells; her daughter, Rena Harp, and husband, Lee Scott Harp; her brother, Eddie Albert Bishop; and her sister, Bonnie Lou West. Emma also took great pride in her grandchildren, including Zachary Myles Hollifield Pike, Brittany Grace Logan, Lyndsay Elizabeth Pike, Brian Matthew Harp, and Christopher Lee Harp. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren, Braiden, Cheyanne, Maliya, Caragan, Peyton, Chaseton, and Gentry, all of whom she adored.

Emma was preceded in death by her father, Albert Bishop; her mother, Grace Baker Bishop; her brother, Donald Gene Bishop; her first husband, Fred Marvin Hollifield; and her second husband, Herbert McKinney.

A celebration of life will be held in Ohio at a later date.

Though Emma’s presence will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
