Eleuterio Cardenas Cruz

Eleuterio Cardenas Cruz, 44, of Marion, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2022.

Eleuterio was born in Veracruz, Mexico on November 19, 1978 to the late Ignacio Cardenas Robles and Ernestina Cruz Arriola.

Eleuterio was an avid America soccer fan. He loved to fish and had a great sense of humor. He really enjoyed making others laugh. Eleuterio was a loving father, son, uncle and brother.

Those left to cherish his memory including his mother are his children, Alondra Cardenas Pena, Daniel Cardenas Pena and Nathan Pavon; his siblings, Guillermo Cardenas Cruz (Claudia) of Marion, Jaime Cardenas Cruz (Alisha) of Marion, Maria de Jesus Cardenas Cruz (Amilkar) of Statesville, Hilda Cardenas Cruz of Marion and Isael Ignacio Cardenas Cruz; one grandchild, Kennlyn Pavon; nieces and nephews, Anthony, Adrian, Mia, Thalia, Emiliano, Alejandro, Gianna, Alexa, Dominic, Arhianna, Lenny, Abel “Nacho”, Rommeo, Carolina, Marcus, and Abigail and his special friends, Pam, Chris and Judas Todd.

A funeral service will take place on Monday, June 26, 2023 at 4:00 pm in the chapel of Beam Funeral Service. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm. Burial will take place after the service at Murphy’s Chapel Cemetery.
