Edward Michael Parker

Edward Michael Parker, 74, of Old Fort, North Carolina, passed away Friday, August 20, 2021 at Mission Hospital- McDowell.

He was born in Durham, North Carolina on February 15, 1947 to the late Edward "Red" Parker and Reba Scoggins Parker.

He graduated from Appalachian State University and worked in manufacturing most of his life.

He is preceded in death by, in addition to his parents, his wife, Susan Lynn Parker; and a sister, Jean Balderama.

He is survived by his two daughters, Michelle Allison and former Son-In-Law Alan Allison, and Ashley Parker; four grandchildren, Alexis Allison, Marcus Allison, Hayes Allison, and Mary Grace Allison; and two sisters, Beth Smith and Myra Sumpter.
