Dora Jean Holsonback

     Dora Jean Spencer Holsonback, 65, of Marion, NC, passed away Friday, March 17, 2023, at her residence.

     Dora was born in Raleigh County, West Virginia, on June, 21, 1957, to the late George W. Spencer and Gwendolyn Feltner Spencer. She was married to the late Carlos J. Holsonback, Jr. Dora was a tax preparation accountant at H&R Block, with whom she served for thirty-five years. She was very adventurous and loved to travel. Dora will be greatly missed.  

     In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Spencer.

     Survivors include three children, Sheila Gamoneda (Hoffman), Tabitha Holsonback, and Jay Holsonback (Kasey); many brothers and sisters; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

     In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held.
