Donnel “Kevin” Wilson, 62, of Marion, went to his Heavenly Home, Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at his residence.
Kevin was born in Baltimore, Maryland on December 28, 1959 to Thelma Maxine Styles Wilson and the late Jesse Lee Wilson. He was a Corrections Sargent for a number of years and a member of the North Carolina Wildlife Commision. Kevin owned his own business which developed hunting scents. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping.

Retirement Community, are his wife of thirty four years, Carol McKinney Wilson of the home; two daughters, Hannah Watson and husband Caleb of Travlers Rest, S.C., Allie Hartwell and husband Jacob of Marion; one sister Karen Falcon of Mississippi; one grandson, Declan Hartwell, along with another grandchild on the way; one uncle Jay Wilson of Cary N.C. and multiple nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Memorial Service will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 22, 2022 in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
