Donna Stanton

Donna Williams Stanton, age 66, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away on the night of Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Memorial Campus of Mission Hospital in Asheville.  A native of McDowell County, North Carolina, born on February 8, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Ruby Hollifield Williams.

A wonderful loving and caring mother, Donna had a heart for horses.  Before her health began to decline, she enjoyed playing the guitar.

Left to cherish her memories are her four children, Wendy Bartlett (Shannon) of Marion, Chris Anglin of Marion, Tommy Caraway of Marion and Tim Caraway of Billings, Montana; one brother, Dale Williams of Marion; twelve grandchildren, Tiffany, Stephanie, Destiny, Brianna, Heaven, Ivanna, Ama, Skyla, Enoch, Genie, Nasa and Ezekiel; two great grandchildren, Lasanders and Easton; and her two special friends, Ann and Sharon. 

A celebration of Donna’s life will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service in Marion.
