Donna Shetley

     Donna Lee Parks Shetley, 75, of Nebo, passed away Friday, February 24, 2023, at the John F. Keever Solace Center in Asheville.

     Donna was born in Madison County, NC on December 4, 1947, to the late Shirley Dean Holt and Millard Lee Parks. She was married to her husband of fifty nine years, Eugene Shetley. Donna dedicated her life in service of others. Most of all, she loved her family. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the center of her world. She will be greatly missed.

     In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry parks; and a sister, Charlotte Parks.

     She is survived by her husband, Eugene Shetley; three daughters, Deana Shetley, Jackie Shetley, and Leigha Radford (Johnny); two sisters, Debbie Buckson and Teresa Parker-Green; six grandchildren, Michael Haynes (Staci), Darren Haynes, Wayne Hall, Nickolas Hall, Jackson Radford, and Brogan Radford; and several great grandchildren.

     A funeral will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Marion. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.
