Donald Dean Randolph of Marion, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at the McDowell Hospital at the age of 61. The son of the late Kirby and Evelyn Duncan Randolph, he was born in McDowell County, North Carolina on June 06, 1955.
Donald, who was a self-employed construction worker, was known for the gun cabinets that he enjoyed building. In his spare time, he loved to fish, hunt, camp and grilling and smoking any type of meat that he could eat. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, John Davis who passed away in December 2016.
He is survived by his wife, Cammy Randolph of the home; one son, Brock Bardeen and wife, Jennifer of Marion; two sisters, Joyce Bruner of Greer, South Carolina and Debbie Lane and her husband, Roger of Morganton; six grandchildren; and one on the way. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Katherine Davis of Marion.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service with Rev. Ray Stockton officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home. A private interment will be held at Murphy’s Chapel Cemetery.
