Dona Patricia Eller Cope

Dona Patricia Eller Cope, 75, of Marion, passed away at her residence on Saturday, March 25, 2023.

Pat was born on November 10, 1947 in Fulton Co., Georgia to the late Bruce Eller and Patricia Jenkins Broome.

She was a member of Glenwood Baptist Church. Pat loved crafting which she enjoyed doing with her granddaughter and her nieces and nephews. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and the greatest aunt in the world. She was known as a friend to all. Pat will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Pat is preceded in death by her husband, Troy Daniel “Danny” Cope.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Betsey Cope-Rogers (Michael); her sister Nancy Spencer; two brothers, Robert “Bob” Broome (Teresa) and Jeff Broome; a granddaughter, Emi Cope; nieces, Sonni Gay (Robert), Jessica Huskins, Margie Rice (Daryn), Sarah Damiano (Russ); nephews, Ryan Spencer, RJ Broome (Kristin); great nieces and nephews, Savannah and Ty Adkins, Raelyn Gay, Raelyn Spencer, Maizi Huskins, Madison and Bradley Rice, AJ Damiano, Julian and Ruby Broome.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 2, 2023 at 2:30 pm at Glenwood Baptist Church with the Rev. Dennis Love officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm until 2:30 pm prior to the service at the church.

Flowers are accepted, but memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society.
