Reverend Dennis Sexton

Reverend Dennis Sexton, age 76, passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021 at the Charles George VA Medical Center. He was born to the late Leonard and Ollie Adams Sexton on November 18,1944 in Whitesburg, Kentucky.

Dennis attended Victory Temple Full Gospel Church and was a former member of Glenwood Baptist Church. He enjoyed singing gospel music, playing the guitar and also gardening. He was a United States Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 10 years; Mary Jo Mace Sexton, four step children; Rhonda Mace Carter, Chris Mace, Mandy Mace Noblitt (Joe) and James Mace.

A celebration of life will be held Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Victory Temple Full Gospel Church, with the Reverend Pete McComb officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until 2 p.m. Interment will be held at Victory Temple Full Gospel Church Cemetery.
