Dennis Patrick Barnes

 Dennis Patrick Barnes, 75, of Marion, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2024, at the Solace Center in Asheville.

 Dennis was born in Memphis, Tennessee, to the late Elizabeth Ann Reynolds and John Butler Barnes, on August 14, 1949. He was married to the late Linda Tressler who preceded him in death on March 13, 2023. He served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam conflict. Dennis was a member of Faith Tabernacle Church in Marion. He loved music and enjoyed playing the guitar and keyboard. He will always be loved and missed. 

 In addition to his wife and parents, Dennis was preceded in death by a sister, Lisa Marie Reynolds. 

 Survivors include two step-sons, Lee Kellerbauaer (Casey) and Jerry Kellerbauaer (Christy); three step-daughters; two sisters, Linda Waymon and Shuawn Dentson; a brother, Kerry Barnes; and three grandchildren. 

 In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held.
