In the early morning hours of Tuesday, July 07, 2020, while surrounded by her loved ones, Mrs. Debra “Debbie” Minnish Zullo, age 64, of Nebo, North Carolina, departed to be with the Lord at her residence. The daughter of Margaret Ledford Minnish of Nebo and the late Donald D. Minnish, she was born in McDowell County, North Carolina on April 13, 1956.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one sister, Penny Minnish; and one brother, Tommy Minnish.
An amazing and wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother, Debbie’s greatest love was the Lord; and last but not least, her family. She truly loved spending time and making memories with her grandkids. She was a member of Harvest Time Church in Marion.
She is survived by, in addition to her mother, her loving husband, Michael Zullo; one son, Michael Jason Zullo (Rachel); one daughter, Jessica Ashley Zullo (Davon Gardner); one sister, Denise Hunter (Robert); and six amazing grandchildren, Megan, Izabella, Abram, Hattie, Samuel and Mason.
A celebration of Debbie’s life will be held on Friday, July 10, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service with Pastor Trent McKeehan officiating. Interment will be held at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.
