David Keith Wilson

 David Keith Wilson, 48, of Marion, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024, at his residence.

 David was born in Mitchell County, NC on January 13, 1976, to Helma Gortney and David Wayne Wilson. He was married to his beloved wife of eighteen years, Amy Dotson Wilson. He was a wonderful husband and an outstanding father and Pop Pop. He loved to cook and enjoyed vintage toys. He was an avid fan of music and loved listening to his records. David was a loyal friend to many and will always be remembered for his unwavering love for his wife and children. 

 Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Amy Wilson; his mother, Helma Deyton; his father, David Wayne Wilson; four children, Alexis Dotson, Bryson Wilson, Brayleigh Wilson, and Kaden Dotson; a brother, Shawn Wilson; and a granddaughter, Ava Dotson.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 26, 2024, at Old Fort Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery on Green Knob Road. Rev. Heath Ogle will officiate.
