David Jeffery Glenn

David Jeffery Glenn, age 64, of Marion, North Carolina passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Spartanburg Regional in South Carolina after a two-year battle with cancer. A native of Spruce Pine, he was born on July 20, 1954 to the late Claude and Marie Collis Glenn.

Jeff loved to fish, go boating and play golf. He was an avid Duke basketball fan. He loved his family especially his grandchildren, who he spent most of his time with. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife of twenty-two years, Wanda Glenn; three children, Chris Bradley, Nancy Keith (Casey) and Cyndi Williams (Jared); and one sister, Claudia Gage (Lanny). Also surviving Jeff are his grandchildren, Maya Keith, Lily Williams, Laney Williams, Gage Bradley and Asher Keith and a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service to celebrate Jeff’s life will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Beam Funeral Service with Reverend Donnie Bryant officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will take place following the service at Spruce Pine City Cemetery.
