David Gerald Barnett

David Gerald Barnett, age 69, passed away on Monday 26,2021 at his residence. He was born to the late Calvin and Rittie Peterson Barnett, on July 18,1952, in Bakersville, North Carolina. He was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

David enjoyed all of the outdoors, hunting, camping and especially riding his Harley. He also enjoyed watching westerns. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 39 years; Dorothy Davis Barnett, five children; Lance Barnett (Sierra), Gerald Barnett (Tonya), Tim Barnett (Jennifer), Richard Taylor (Sarah) and Robert Taylor, three sisters, five brothers, twelve grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
