Darlene Whitson

Darlene Walls Whitson, age 61, of Marion, North Carolina passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at her residence. A native of Wilkes County, Darlene was born on March 12, 1958 to the late Guy and Della Ledford Walls.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, who passed one year ago, Ernest Whitson and one sister, Christine Turner.

Darlene was an avid collector and loved her dogs. She will be missed by all her family.

Left to cherish her memory are one sister, Patsy Honeycutt, two brothers, Bill Ledford (Helen) and Guy Walls (Tammy) and a number of nieces and nephews.
