Darlene Kay Everett

Darlene Kay Byer Everett, age 70, of Marion passed away at her residence on Saturday, October 15, 2016 with her family by her side. Mrs. Everett was born on November 2, 1945 to the late Luverne and Marjorie Engvold Peterson. She was also preceded in death by her husband Ivan Hugh Everett.

Darlene was a homemaker and loved to read. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She leaves behind to cherish her memory two daughters, Toni Purnell and Sandi Byer; two brothers, Dale Peterson and Gary Peterson. Also surviving Mrs. Everett are two grandchildren, Samantha Purnell and Lee Purnell; and two great-grandchildren Anthony Mackey and Logan Purnell.

In keeping with Darlene’s wishes a memorial service will be held at a later date.
