Danny Dewayne Blake

Danny Dewayne Blake, age 67, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away at his residence on Sunday, March 17, 2019.  Born in Huntington, West Virginia on March 8, 1952, he was the son of the late Robert and Maude Daniels Blake. 

Danny enjoyed being outdoors and older model vehicles, but most of all, he loved being around his grandchildren.  He was a member of Cornerstone Church of God in Marion, where he also had assisted in building parts of the church.

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Sandra Mae Webb Blake; one son, Robert Blake; one daughter, Bridgett Blake; and two grandchildren, Adaley Rose and Jackson Blake.  Danny is also survived by two brothers, Larry Blake (Cathy) and Bobby Blake; two sisters, Patricia Jones (Donald) and Mary Christian (Jerry); mother-in-law, Ada Willis; and brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Wanda Morgan. 

A celebration of Mr. Blake’s life will be held.  The date and time will be announced once it has been finalized.
