Daniel Gage Willis

Daniel Gage Willis, age 21 of Marion, North Carolina went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 19, 2019. He was born on May 14, 1997 in McDowell County to Daniel Willis and Michelle Tippett.

He was currently employed at Roses in Marion. Daniel enjoyed writing music and poetry. He loved to go bowling, playing basketball and shooting pool. He also enjoyed buying, selling and trading various items. He will truly be missed by his family and friends.

Left to cherish his memories are his mother Michelle Tippett and father Daniel Willis. Paternal grandmother Katherine Willis, brothers Anthony Smith, Buddy Smith Jr. and one sister Stephanie Lewis; nephews Elijah, Bryson, Avery and Clayton;  niece MaKayla along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A funeral service will take place Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service with Rev. Junior Bailey officiating. Interment will follow the service at McDowell Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.
