Daniel Hooper Monteith

Daniel Hooper Monteith, 72, of Marion, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, October 3, 2023.

Daniel was born in Buncombe County on April 1, 1951 to the late Frank Monteith and the late Verna Hooper Monteith. He is also preceded in death by his sisters, Tammy V. Monteith and Francia “Fran” Deweese.

Daniel was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and retired from the Charles George VA Medical Center of Asheville.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Margie H. Monteith and a sister, Donna Monteith.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
