Dan Wesley Parker

Mr. Dan Wesley Parker, age 60, was carried by the Angels into the loving arms of God on Tuesday, June 01, 2021. He was born in Yancey County, North Carolina, on December 11, 1960, to the late Dolphus and Mary Elizabeth Young Parker.

Dan was one of God’s finest examples of a loving husband, father and man. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He was also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and loved his Chevy trucks. He will be remembered as a godly man and one who loved the Lord.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Juanita Young and Yonne Hunter and his mother-in-law, Hattie Finley Queen.

Left to cherish Dan’s memory is his wife of 39 years, Paula Queen Parker; his son, Wesley Parker and his daughter, Aurora Parker. His fur babies; Nessy and Rowdy. Also, several siblings; his twin brother, Van Parker (Susan); brothers, Randy Parker, Ossie Parker (Gail), Tim Parker & Jeff Parker (Cindy); his sisters, Pamala McMorris, Carol Charles & Nellie Inabinett; his sister-in-law, Ann Devinney (Alan) and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will have a visitation on Friday, June 04, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., at Beam Funeral Service.

The family would like to send a special thank you to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills for there special care and treatment that they showed Dan during his final days.
