Cynthia Canella

Cynthia Robbins Canella, age 60, of Hickory, North Carolina, passed away on the night of Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Gateway Rehabilitation & Healthcare in Lenoir.  The only child of the late Ernest and Barbara Taylor Robbins, Cynthia was born in Shelby, North Carolina on December 30, 1957. 

A loving and compassionate mother and grandmother, Cynthia, who was a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), worked at several nursing facilities through out Catawba County.  Having been a single mother, Cynthia would work many different shifts to be able to raise her two sons, which she did with love and compassion and whom she was proud of. 

Left to cherish her memories are her two sons, Joseph Canella of Durham and Chris Canella of Lenoir; three grandchildren, Jacob, Callie and Adelyn Canella; and her step-mother, Alice Robbins of Hickory.
