Colt Clay Flack, age 31, of Nebo, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 17, 2017 at Memorial Campus of Mission Hospital in Asheville, following a lengthy and courageous battle with multiple health issues. Born in Rutherford County, North Carolina on June 05, 1986, he was the son of Pete and Penny Bates Flack of Nebo.
Known by his loving daughter as an “awesome” dad, Colt enjoyed working on cars and watching trains. Colt loved to crack jokes and lived his life no matter what life handed him. He was always ready for an adventure and will be missed by all.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Patricia Flack of the home; daughter, Jocelyn Flack of the home; one brother, Levi Flack and his wife, Samantha and their son, Nolen “Pumpkin Head”; three sisters, Karen Smith of Morganton, Anita Flack of Nebo; and Tammy Flack of Nebo. Colt is also survived by a special cousin, Joe Roland; and many aunts, uncles and friends.
A celebration of Colt’s life will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service with Rev. T. Jay Addison officiating. Interment will follow at Glenwood Independent Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.
